A QA Tester Leaking Season 4 Details?

When it comes to popularity there are often just as many cons as there are pros and such has definitely been the case with Fortnite. At this point its old news that Fortnite is one of the most popular games around and perhaps one reason for it might be the fact that they are constantly putting out new content. In addition, the end of last season was filled with all sorts of mysterious in-game features that made anticipation for would be released with the upcoming season skyrocket to outrageous levels.

Enter Thomas Hannah a QA contractor from North Carolina who was accused of “diminishing the enjoyment” of the season 4 rollout due to apparent leaks he was distributing to third parties. The story goes that Hannah was hired by Epic Games in December of 2017 and would later resign April 4th 2018. Three weeks later someone with the username “internetadam” began posting now deleted spoilers for the upcoming Season 4 Battle Pass as well as the then mysterious meteor. Epic’s claim is that the person with the username “internetadam” is a man named Adam DiMarco and the person who gave him the information was former QA tester, Thomas Hannah.

Now Thomas Hannah is looking to defend himself against the wildly successful Epic Games in what is likely to be a “he said she said” legal battle. Thomas Hannah’s defense is that he was simply questioned by Adam DiMarco to which he gave indirect responses. Essentially Thomas Hannah helped narrow down some possible location for the meteor strike including ruling out the popular theory that it would be Tilted towers, however, Thomas maintains that he did not directly tell Adam it would be Dusty Depot but rather Adam figured it out on his own after getting some hints from Thomas.

Ultimately it doesn’t sound like Thomas Hannah is a guy looking to sell out insider secrets for some extra cash but still, his defense doesn’t seem like it going to play well in court since what he outlines still represents a violation of just about any Non-Disclosure Agreement. Fate and a jury will decide what happens next for Thomas Hannah.
