Round-based Zombies returns in Black Ops 7, and it’s bringing the huge Ashes of the Damned at launch. That’s not all, the devs have confirmed a new map arrives every season – but not necessarily round-based.

On top of the launch map, with the original crew and the first-ever Wonder Vehicle, Survival returns in Black Ops 7 Zombies. 

This stripped-back mode first appeared in Black Ops 2, and features a small area of a bigger map without any Easter eggs, where your only goal is to survive as long as you can. 

The first Survival map, Farm, arrives at launch, with other areas of Ashes of the Damned arriving later. 

But, it won’t just be Survival maps dropping all year, as Activision said in a statement to CharlieIntel: “Every season will have a new playable map. Our roadmap is ambitious, with at least one new experience in each season, including plenty of Round-Based maps throughout post-launch.”
