Day 2 of the Call of Duty League Major I Qualifiers delivered another slate of one-sided Hardpoints, clutch Search and Destroy finishes, and dominant Overload performances. Three series filled the schedule—and each one told a very different story. Here’s everything that went down.

Toronto KOI opened the day with a rollercoaster series against Miami Heretics, surviving a late push to close the matchup 3–2.

Map 1 – Scar Hardpoint: KOI dominate 250–85

Toronto came out swinging with one of the most lopsided Hardpoints of the qualifiers so far. They controlled rotations from start to finish and suffocated Heretics across every hill.

Map 2 – Scar SnD: Heretics clutch 6–5

Heretics bounced back with a tight Search and Destroy win, stealing rounds late and tying the series 1–1.

Map 3 – Exposure Overload: KOI sweep 8–0

KOI responded with an absolute blowout in Overload—an 8–0 sweep that showcased perfect offensive pacing and flawless defensive coordination.

Map 4 – Den Hardpoint: Heretics answer again, 250–199

Heretics refused to go away, taking the second Hardpoint with strong breaks and final-rotation composure to force a decisive map.

Map 5 – Den SnD: KOI close 6–3

In the final map, KOI locked things down. Their mid-round adjustments and first-blood efficiency delivered the series win, 6–3.

Vancouver Surge vs Paris Gentle Mates (0–3)

Paris Gentle Mates continue to look like one of the cleanest teams early in the season, sweeping Surge with confidence.

Map 1 – Colossus Hardpoint: Gentle Mates win 250–152

A strong mid-game run gave Gentle Mates full control, outslaying and out-rotating Vancouver across every crucial hill.

Map 2 – Raid SnD: Gentle Mates take it 6–3

Paris continued their momentum with a comfortable SnD victory, mixing aggressive first-blood plays with disciplined late-round setups.

Map 3 – Den Overload: Gentle Mates close 4–1

The French squad finished the sweep with a clean Overload win, taking four of the first five rounds to seal their 3–0 in convincing fashion.

G2 Minnesota vs Cloud9 New York (2–3)

The final match of the day delivered a full-distance thriller, with G2 clutching up late to secure a statement victory.

Map 1 – Colossus Hardpoint: Cloud9 win 250–221

A tightly contested opener gave Cloud9 the edge, thanks to late-hill discipline and strong respawn control.

Map 2 – Colossus SnD: G2 answer 6–2

G2 responded with a dominant SnD, reading C9’s setups perfectly and forcing the series back to even.

Map 3 – Den Overload: G2 take it 4–1

Momentum swung heavily toward Minnesota as they out-slayed C9 and cruised through the Overload.

Map 4 – Scar Hardpoint: Cloud9 respond 250–225

With their backs against the wall, Cloud9 tightened up the rotations and forced a Game 5 with another close Hardpoint win.

Map 5 – Scar SnD: G2 close 6–3

In the deciding map, G2 delivered under pressure—stacking first bloods, clutching late-round scenarios, and locking up the reverse sweep.
