Dead Ops Arcade returning BO7

Dead Ops Arcade is officially returning to Call of Duty’s Zombies mode in Black Ops 7, with a short teaser shown during Gamescom.

Since its first appearance in Call of Duty: World at War, Zombies has become a staple of Treyarch’s CoD releases. Whether players are racing to complete Easter Eggs, chasing high round records, or simply piling up kills, the mode has something for everyone.

One of the fan-favorite experiences within Zombies is Dead Ops Arcade. The top-down arcade-style mode was first introduced in the original Black Ops and has since reappeared in Black Ops 3 and Black Ops: Cold War.

Now, Dead Ops Arcade will once again return in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, as teased during the Gamescom presentation.

Dead Ops Arcade 4 confirmed for Black Ops 7

The teaser appeared toward the end of the Call of Duty segment during Opening Night Live, and long-time fans quickly recognized the classic top-down gameplay. Nuketown has also been confirmed to feature, with the unmistakable yellow school bus visible right in the middle of Dead Ops Arcade 4.

“Dead Ops Arcade 4 blasts into Black Ops 7 with a wild new mode, deadly weapons, and new arenas in over-the-top chaos. Whether you’re solo or with the squad, DOA 4 is absolute mayhem,” the developers later confirmed in their Black Ops 7 blog.

Treyarch also revealed that more information will be shared during the upcoming Call of Duty: Zombies reveal for Black Ops 7.

“This top-down, twin-stick Zombies shooter delivers frantic, arcade-style action with full XP progression. Loaded with power-ups, traps, and constant waves of enemies, this is pure over-the-top co-op chaos for up to four players. More details coming soon!
