Blizzard also noted that any system under the requirement will attempt to run the game experience may be significantly diminished.

With the stream they also answered some questions and announced some new features and a few of these were also shown off over the weekend. The game art style is closer to Diablo 2 being more dark and gothic vs Diablo 3 where it was more colorful. The game will feature new World Bosses that will randomly spawn in the world allowing players to work together to fight.and take down for some great rewards, currently the game will feature 3 different world bosses and if one spawns it will ping all nearby players of the presence.

The game will also feature an open world more of an MMO, where all locations will blend together and the story unfolds as you play through in a similar style of World of WarCraft. You can also run into players playing as well and join them if desired to.

Items will now only take up 1 inventory slot vs before where Diablo 3 large items would take 2 and Diablo/Diablo 2 large items taking up many slots. The PC version will also support controllers unlike Diablo 3 but as of this time will not support WASD controls but isn’t out of coming later. Also they said sets will not come at launch as they want to make sets correctly and not make it into everyone running the same items each season like Diablo 3 leaned more into.

Don’t forget to play the open beta, anyone that participates will get a wolf that sleeps on their back in a sleep sack just for reaching Level 20. The Open Beta starts March 24th for everyone early March 17th for preorders.
