Hajin Map Breakdown: DMZ's Massive New B

Modern Warfare 4's highly anticipated DMZ mode is launching with Hajin, an expansive extraction map that dwarfs previous offerings. Set in a demilitarized zone spanning the former North and South Korean border, Hajin delivers distinct environmental contrasts that directly impact your tactical approach and loadout decisions.

The map splits into two distinct regions with vastly different aesthetics and threat profiles. The western territories feature sparse, militaristic layouts reminiscent of rural occupation zones, while the eastern sections showcase dense urban sprawl complete with hospitals, shopping centers, stadiums, and apartment blocks. This visual diversity isn't just cosmetic—it determines enemy density, loot types, and the overall danger level you'll encounter.

Threat scaling is fundamental to Hajin's design philosophy. Each named point of interest carries its own danger rating, from Low to Critical, forcing players to evaluate risk versus reward before engaging. Stealth becomes essential in high-threat zones, though successfully eliminating threats can temporarily reduce tension in nearby areas. Beyond the major POIs, Hajin contains 60 additional minor locations worth exploring, alongside specialized landmarks like gas stations, police precincts, UAV installations, and medical facilities—each offering purpose-specific loot pools.

Hajin launches with Ground War and DMZ on October 23, with Warzone integration following during Season 1. Whether you're running extraction contracts or hunting rival squads, this sprawling battleground promises weeks of competitive exploration and engagement.
