Halo Infinite Features Leak

Halo Infinite has had a hard time over the past year but with lots of changes in tow it looks like more details on updates have been leaked with many players getting excited. Maps, weapons, vehicles and even new forge additions were leaked.

The first map shown was Crystal Caves is a 4v4 map that is designed around a mining area for needler ammo. The map has lots of details with crystals coming out of the ground and being very pink and even allowing players to blow up the crystal mines to kill players on the map. Other details included little areas where you can see where grunts would place their methane gas masks on and some really cool skybox details with a fight going on in space to make it feel more alive.

The next map that was seen was Engine that will be a Big Team Battle map. Not much was shown besides some screenshots but it looks like it’s a facility that is in the middle of a lava core.

Rockridge was shown off as another BRB map being a large sand/desert style map and showed the return of vehicle spawn points allowing for select vehicles to respawn/spawn at said points just as they were in previous Halo titles.

New weapon shown off was the Double Barrel Shotgun that looks to have a small grav hammer attached to the front. This will act as a power weapon with little ammo but pack a punch. A new vehicle looks to be added to the game called the Komodo and it looks to be a flamethrower tank. It wasn’t finished in this leak but shows 343 is looking to add some new ideas to the game with what appears to be the Falcon also coming.

On the Forge side Campaign AI looks to be near completed and in Forge allowing for players to create mass scenarios for their custom maps, not much more was shown off but it looks like this will be a great addition for players to play around with. Forge World, one of fan favorite forge maps from Halo Reach, is also making a return with water textures and the map in the leak.

New modes that were seen in the return are VIP and GunGame, these will more than likely be added to the party playlists but time will tell. All of these leaks look like they are priming up for the Season 3 release of Halo Infinite but with any leak things can change or not even release but it’s cool to see some insights behind the scene of Halo Infinite. Halo Infinite had one of the largest launches but also has one of the largest drop off in player count, but Microsoft and 343 Industry is hoping to turn things around with faster content updates and season releases. With rumors of Halo jumping ship to the Unreal Engine and a Battle Royale standalone game coming, there is just a lot going on right now and this just helps give players an insight to what is being worked on and some hope after all the recent bad news.
