How to Get Early Access

1. Pre-order the game (digital or physical)

• Digital pre-orders (on PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Steam, Battle.net etc.) automatically include Early Access. No extra code is needed in most cases. 

• Physical copies often come with an Early Access code (often printed on the receipt or emailed) which you’ll redeem on the Call of Duty site. 

• After redeeming, the system will send you a Beta “token” near the start of Early Access which lets you play on your chosen platform. 

2. Have an active Game Pass subscription

If you have Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass PC, or Game Pass Console (where applicable), that gives you Early Access to the Beta without needing to pre-order. 

3. Via partner promos / code giveaways

• Internet providers or services may issue codes. For example, Xfinity Rewards is offering Early Access codes through its rewards hub. 

• In the UK, the mobile carrier EE has become an official partner and is distributing codes via texting and online form submissions. 

• Twitch drops, content creator giveaways, or special promotions might also provide codes. 

Steps You Can Take This Week

Since you're asking “this week,” here’s a tactical checklist you can follow immediately:

1. Decide on a platform
   Think which console or PC you intend to play on (PlayStation, Xbox, PC, etc.). Make sure your account is ready.

2. Pre-order digital if you haven’t
   Go to your platform’s store (PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Steam, etc.) and pre-order the game. This is the simplest route to Early Access.

3. If going physical, buy from a reliable retailer
   Make sure the retailer participates in the Early Access promo and that you will receive the code (on receipt or via email).

4. Check if you have Game Pass or qualify for one
   If you don’t already, consider getting Game Pass (Ultimate or PC) before the Early Access window. If already subscribed, you should already have Early Access.

7. Preload the Beta (if allowed)
   Once Early Access nears, Activision is likely to allow a preload so players can download ahead of time.

   • Early Access: October 2 → October 5 

   • Open Beta: October 5 → October 8 

What If You Miss Early Access?

No worries, you’ll still get to play in the Open Beta (October 5–8) for free, across all platforms. You don’t need a code or pre-order for that.
