Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 4 Release Details

Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 4 is set to launch on May 29, 2025. As expected from a new Call of Duty update, a fresh weapon is joining the lineup — the LC10 SMG makes its return this season.

Season 4 is a celebration of Black Ops history, featuring the comeback of fan-favorite modes like One in the Chamber, Grief for Zombies, and the classic Fringe map from Black Ops 3. Following Season 3's reintroduction of Modern Warfare 2019 weapons, this season shifts focus to Cold War-era gear.

Unlocking the LC10 in Season 4

Players can unlock the LC10 SMG by completing Page 3 of the Season 4 Battle Pass, starting on May 29. You'll have approximately eight weeks to earn the necessary XP. Once the season ends, the LC10 will be added to the Armory.

The LC10 is available for free through the Battle Pass. However, purchasing the full pass can speed up progress and grants access to a special blueprint on Page 14.

LC10 Weapon Overview

Originally featured in Black Ops Cold War, the LC10 is a fully automatic SMG praised for its accuracy and range — making it more adaptable than most weapons in its class. Despite its slower handling, its precision and reach help it stand out.

The LC10 was dominant in Cold War and also made a strong impact in Warzone, even receiving several balance adjustments due to its power. With Season 3's recent standout weapons like the HDR, AMAX, and Kilo, the LC10 is expected to be just as effective.

Additional Weapons Returning

Season 4 doesn’t stop with the LC10. The FFAR Assault Rifle from Cold War is also back, along with the Pickaxe melee weapon and the Essex Model 07 Marksman Rifle.

Players have also been buzzing about the return of a popular mode, although some feel it’s missing something. There’s also growing speculation that jetpacks may be making a comeback.
