Release & Overall Scope

  • Release Date: November 14, 2025. Platforms include PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X|S, and PC, with Game Pass availability from day one.

Campaign & Game Modes

  • Setting & Story: The story continues from Black Ops II (set in 2035), featuring David Mason, returning villains like Raul Menendez, and a new tech antagonist known as The Guild. Expect psychological warfare and high-stakes cinematic missions across Japan, Nicaragua, LA, Avalon, Alaska, and more.

  • Co-op & Endgame Mode: Campaign supports up to four-player co-op. Introducing Endgame, a PvE, open-world-like mode where players fight through rounds and gear up for an ultimate challenge.

  • Global Progression: XP, challenges, and unlocks carry over across Campaign, Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone (starting in Season 1).

  • Zombies Mode: Enhanced Zombies featuring Tranzit-style travel, Survival maps, and the return of Dead Ops Arcade, making this the most ambitious installment yet.

  • Launch Arsenal: 30 weapons confirmed at launch 16 brand-new to the franchise, and 14 returning or inspired by past entries.

    • 3 remakes from Black Ops II: Raid, Express, and Hijacked now reimagined in new settings (e.g., Raid is in Japan)

    • 20v20 Skirmish Maps: Two large-scale maps (Mission Edge and Mission Tide), designed for objective-driven, high-intensity combat with vehicles, wingsuits, grappling hooks, and varied objectives.

    • Map Environments: Diverse locales icy Alaskan wilds, Japanese Guild facilities, high-tech solar arrays in the Australian Outback, and more.
