AK-27 New WZ META AR

Time to kill TTK is one of the most important stats to consider when choosing your Warzone loadout, as a weapon that eliminates enemies faster provides a significant edge in direct engagements.

Although Season 2 introduced powerful new options like the ERGT-17 and REV-46 that have already impacted the meta, a familiar favorite now stands out at long range following a recent buff.

The AK-27 now deals increased damage over distance, making it the top choice for players aiming to secure the fastest eliminations possible.

Warzone’s AK-27 is the fastest killing weapon after the Season 2 buff

According to data from the CODMunity tool, the AK-27 is highly competitive at close range but truly excels beyond 40 meters. It is only outperformed by the M8A1 and MK.78 past 45 meters, and then becomes the fastest killing weapon once engagements exceed 56 meters.

This gives it a clear advantage in medium to long range fights, which is ideal for an Assault Rifle loadout.

The weapon has been highlighted by Warzone content creators JGOD and WhosImmortal, both known for analyzing the meta, with JGOD describing it as “kind of ridiculous.”

The AK-27 does have noticeable recoil at longer distances, which can make it harder to control. However, by using attachments that focus on recoil management and bullet velocity, players can eliminate enemies quickly and maintain an advantage in direct encounters. Refer to an optimized AK-27 loadout for the recommended attachments, Perks, and Equipment.

Both creators suggest pairing it with the Carbon 57, a fast killing SMG that performs well at close range. Since the AK-27 is also effective up close, it can alternatively be used as sniper support alongside the Hawker HX or VS Recon.
