Call of duty has released Season 5 Reload update version 1.42. The update went live September 8th and brings changes to games including map changes, New game modes, and weapon tuning.

The week of September 16th, The game modes will once again be changed and a new game mode will be introduced called Iron Trials ’84 this game mode will replace normal duos in verdank.

Iron Trials ‘84  
The new game mode sets to bring fundamental changes to warzone including: 

  1. New gulag
  2. New classified weapons
  3. New health and regeneration 
  4. Removal of load out drops
  5. Removal of field upgrades
  6. Added environmental hazards
  7. Sniper rifle limitations
  8. Snipers will only be one shot to the head within 30 meters.
  9. Vehicles
  10. Dirt bikes and ATVs are the only mode of transport

The numbers event  
Beginning September 21st a new limitedtime event will be added to Verdansk. Players will need to travel to the mobile broadcast stations found throughout the map for doing so you will receive the following rewards:

  1. $5000 in your current match 
  2. For every unique Mobile Broadcast Station activated during the event, you will receive an exclusive reward such as a Sticker, Calling Card, or Charm, in addition to some XP
  3. If you manage to complete all the challenges within the Numbers event 

Bug Fixes 

  1. Fixed a visual issue causing Player models to appear to have two left hands after free falling with any akimbo Weapon equipped.
  2. Fixed additional collision issues with various elements across Verdansk allowing Players to exploit/peek/shoot through them.
  3. Fixed collision issues with various elements across both Verdansk and Rebirth Island that allowed Loadout Drops to fall through them.
  4. Fixed an issue causing Players to not receive the squad wipe notification when finishing the last member of an enemy squad.
  5. Fixed an issue causing Players to remain stuck in the blank tablet screen while using the RXXD Killstreak.
  6. Fixed an issue causing the audio for certain Finishing Moves to not play properly.
  7. Fixed an issue causing Thermite damage to persist upon redeployment after exiting the Gulag.
  8. Fixed an issue where a Bounty Contract would display placeholder text.
  9. Fixed an issue where a Squad Wipe wouldn’t count if the last enemy was holding a SelfRevive.
  10. Fixed an issue where Players could regenerate Armor Plates while using the Tempered perk.
  11. Fixed an issue where Revive and SelfRevive times were incorrect in Private Matches.
  12. Fixed an issue where some Calling Cards were displaying placeholder text.
  13. Fixed an issue where trying to customize Reticles would send Players back to the Main Menu.
  14. Fixed incorrect Blueprint labeling of various Attachments in the Gunsmith Customs.
  15. Fixed the Reticle alignment for the Swiss K31 (BOCW) “Roman Standard” Blueprint.
  16. Fixed the visual scaling of the Swiss K31 (BOCW) Diamond Camo.
  17. Fixed various issues causing the inspect animation on some Blueprints to not work properly.

  1. Fixed a visual issue with the Calling Card awarded for a certain easter egg. 
  2. Fixed an issue causing Red Door rooms to misleadingly appear open if a Player dies inside one and redeploys after winning their Gulag match.
  3. Fixed an issue causing the Auto Move Forward accessibility menu option to appear twice.
  4. Fixed an issue preventing text from fitting properly within Menu elements in non-English languages.
  5. Fixed an issue that was allowing Players to force Red Doors to remain open by using the Deployable Cover Field Upgrade.
  6. Fixed an issue that was preventing some players from receiving rewards after completing a Contract in core BR.
  7. Fixed an issue where clicking an MOTD would cause Players to be taken to the incorrect location within the Menus.
  8. Fixed an issue where that same easter egg could not be interacted with.
