Group C may be the toughest group in Atlanta. Boston Breach continues to look for consistency, but the talent is there. Project Notorious also enters with a strong amateur lineup that has competed at a high level in Challengers.

Group D feels unpredictable. FaZe Vegas enters with major expectations after one of the biggest rebrands in CDL history, while Riyadh Falcons continues to grow as one of the newest teams in the league. Cloud9 New York remains hard to read, making this one of the most open groups in the tournament. ROC Esports rounds things out after earning its spot through Challengers play.
The Pro-Am format makes DreamHack Atlanta different from a normal CDL Major. One bad series can flip an entire group, and amateur teams often enter with less pressure and more freedom. That has led to major upsets in past events.
Atlanta also arrives at an important point in the season. Teams have had time to settle after offseason roster changes, new branding, and role shifts. Organizations like FaZe Vegas, G2 Minnesota, Riyadh Falcons, Toronto KOI, and Cloud9 New York represent a different look for the league in 2026, while veterans still fight to stay near the top.
For fans, DreamHack Atlanta offers more than points and prize money. It brings the chance for breakout moments, surprise runs, and fresh rivalries. With 16 teams entering the weekend and several rosters still trying to find form, Major III could become one of the most unpredictable CDL events of the year.
