Limited Serialized Camo Race Begins

Call of Duty's latest seasonal update introduces a high-stakes competition where only the fastest 100,000 players can claim an exclusive numbered cosmetic. Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 5 feature a challenge-based unlock system tied to pre-orders of Modern Warfare 4, creating urgency for competitive players looking to secure rare bragging rights.

Players who pre-order the upcoming title gain immediate access to the Moonlit Pearl camo and unlock a timed challenge for the Gilded Ruin variant. The key differentiator is the serialization system: the first 100,000 competitors to complete the challenge receive a numbered version displaying their position in the completion order. Early finishers earn lower numbers, with the first player receiving "No: 000001 of 100,000." Players outside the top 100,000 still obtain the base camo without numbering.

The challenge demands 5,000 eliminations accumulated across both Black Ops 7 and Warzone modes. This requirement creates a competitive grind that rewards dedication and skill, making the serialized versions highly coveted status symbols within the community. The numbered cosmetics will remain exclusive and cannot be obtained later, adding permanent value to early completion.

Both cosmetics will carry over to Modern Warfare 4 at launch, allowing players to display their achievement throughout the game's lifecycle. This limited-time unlock structure incentivizes immediate engagement with the seasonal content and provides tangible rewards for the most dedicated competitors.
