Warzone fans push for Change

Warzone fans are pushing for wall jumping to become a permanent feature after the mechanic received a warm reception during its trial run in a limited-time mode.

Wall jumping was one of Black Ops 7’s standout additions this year, introducing fast and flashy new movement options. By leaping toward a wall and pressing jump again, players can launch themselves upward and even chain multiple jumps to pull off high-skill maneuvers.

However, when Warzone integrated BO7 with the Season 1 update, wall jumping didn’t carry over to the battle royale’s main playlists. Instead, it was tested in the Buy Back limited-time mode—alongside grapple hooks—giving players a preview of how the mechanic might feel in standard Warzone.

The test seems to have gone over extremely well, with many in the community now eager to see wall jumping implemented across all core modes.

Since the Buy Backs LTM went live, social feeds have been filled with praise for the mechanic and how much smoother it makes movement feel.

“By far the most fun I’ve had on Warzone in a while. Wall jumping and grapple hooks need to be in by default,” one player said on X. Another wrote: “This is the best Warzone has been since Verdansk launched last year.”
