Black ops 6 Must-Use perk broken!

One of Black Ops 6’s most popular perks has stopped working properly after the Season 5 Reloaded update, and players aren’t happy about it.

Like every Call of Duty title, Black Ops 6 has its own multiplayer meta, with certain weapons, attachments, and perks becoming go-to choices for players. Seasonal updates are meant to rebalance things and shift the meta, but sometimes they introduce new issues instead.

Since the September 3 update, the Ninja perk has been reported as “broken.” Although it wasn’t listed in the patch notes as being changed, players say it no longer silences footsteps as intended.

Many have shared their frustration, pointing out that the perk feels defective across all loadouts. Some report still hearing their own footsteps, while others believe teammate footsteps are now louder than usual. For modes like Search & Destroy, where stealth is crucial, this has become a major problem.

Despite numerous complaints, the developers have yet to fix the issue, but have noted that they are aware of it on their official update channels. For now, Ninja can still be equipped, but it doesn’t function correctly, leaving players unsure when, or if, a fix will arrive.
