A simple 1080p port of the 2012 classic Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has reportedly sold more than 8 million copies on the PlayStation Store since its July release, making it one of the year’s top performers. The original Black Ops was also shadow-dropped the same day and has sold around 3 million copies, bringing the combined total for both ports to over 11 million on PS4 and PS5.According to a report from Alinea Analytics, Black Ops 2 alone generated roughly $325 million in revenue in less than a month. Adding Black Ops 1’s estimated $110 million pushes the combined total to about $435 million (before Sony’s 30% cut).
