The ISO Nightshade is already shaping up to be one of the strongest options for aggressive players in Modern Warfare 4. With an extremely fast fire rate and excellent mobility, the weapon is built for close-range fights, but the right combination of attachments can stretch its effectiveness much farther.
This ISO Nightshade build focuses on significantly improving its range while maintaining the speed that makes the SMG so dangerous in the first place.
Best ISO Nightshade Attachments in MW4
-
Barrel: ZLR Carbon-900 Long Barrel
-
Muzzle: FSS Crackdown Heavy Silencer
-
Stock: No Stock
-
Rear Grip: Demo STP-1 Tactical Grip
-
Ammunition: 9mm Parabellum FR
The ZLR Carbon-900 Long Barrel is one of the most important pieces of the build, helping improve the Nightshade's effectiveness at longer distances. This is paired with the FSS Crackdown Heavy Silencer, giving the weapon another attachment geared toward improving its ranged performance while keeping shots suppressed.
Those attachments can make the Nightshade feel heavier, which is where No Stock and the Demo STP-1 Tactical Grip come into play. The setup maintains the fast movement and handling you want from an SMG, making it much easier to aggressively push enemies and quickly transition between gunfights.
Finally, 9mm Parabellum FR ammunition rounds out the five-attachment setup and further complements the build.
Why This ISO Nightshade Build Works
The biggest strength of this setup is its combination of range and mobility. The build shown provides a huge boost to range while still increasing both mobility and handling, allowing the ISO Nightshade to remain extremely quick despite being built to compete outside of traditional SMG distances.
Its 923 RPM fire rate also makes the Nightshade extremely punishing up close. Players who can stay on target can quickly overwhelm opponents before they have much time to react.
There is a tradeoff, however, as the build sacrifices some accuracy. That makes recoil control and good centering more important when attempting longer-range fights.
How to Use the ISO Nightshade
The ISO Nightshade is at its best when played aggressively. Use its mobility to close the distance, constantly reposition between engagements, and take advantage of its high fire rate in close- and medium-range fights.
While the additional range gives the weapon more flexibility, it is still an SMG at heart. Avoid unnecessarily challenging assault rifles at extreme distances and instead use movement and positioning to force opponents into fights where the Nightshade's speed can take over.
For players looking for a fast ISO Nightshade class that doesn't completely fall apart at range, this five-attachment setup is an excellent option to try in MW4.
