Whenever a new Call of Duty season rolls around, fans are expectant of a few things – new content, fresh changes, and the all-too-familiar worry that they’re going to have to change their loadouts.
While some fans love to see overpowered weapons being nerfed, not everyone does. In the recent season 3 updates the Voyak KR-3, which had dominated long-range fights throughout season two, was nerfed significantally
The assault rifle had its damage and bullet velocity decreased, while the recoil was increased to make it harder to land shots. However, the nerf hasn’t killed the Voyak off altogether.

According to Call of Duty guru Whosimmortal the weapon is still a top option in both Warzone and Black Ops 7’s multiplayer.
The YouTuber noted that it has been nerfed, but remains a “reliable weapon” and is still a “laser beam” with the right attachments. In both his classes for Warzone and multiplayer, he has gone “all-in” on weapon control.
“It is a laser beam, low recoil, and aggressive for a rifle,” he said in his April 6 video. “It does everything.”
While the Voyak remains a viable option, some players have dumped it out of their loadouts, opting for something completely different. If thats you, then the MXR-17 is something you may want to consider – especially in warzone
