Warzone’s New Meta AR

Warzone has a new top-tier Assault Rifle that’s shredding long-range fights after receiving a major buff in the Season 1 Reloaded update.

The mid-season patch delivered a huge wave of content. Alongside new weapons, a Fallout crossover featuring an Event Pass and limited-time mode, the update also introduced several crucial weapon balance changes.

These adjustments completely shifted the meta. Some of the strongest guns were toned down, while a handful of previously overlooked weapons received significant boosts.

The biggest winner of the update was the M15 Mod 0, which is now poised to dominate long-range engagements.

M15 Mod 0 becomes Warzone’s best AR after buffs

Season 1 Reloaded massively improved the M15 Mod 0’s effective range. Its maximum damage range was extended from 38m to 45m, medium damage range increased from 55m to 60m, minimum damage was bumped from 22 to 24, and bullet velocity saw a noticeable upgrade.

While those changes might not seem huge on their own, Warzone Meta data shows just how impactful they are. The M15 Mod 0 melts enemies up to 51 meters with a blistering 624ms time-to-kill, outperforming previous long-range favorites like the DS20 Mirage and AK-27.

Even past that range, it remains highly competitive, clocking in at around 858ms TTK beyond 51 meters. Although sniper rifles still rule extreme distances, the M15 Mod 0 hits harder than most LMGs while maintaining Assault Rifle handling.

What really sets the weapon apart, however, is its ease of use. Recoil is minimal and extremely predictable, making it easy to stay on target and consistently achieve its fast TTK.

After already taking over Black Ops 7 multiplayer earlier this year—before eventually being nerfed—the M15 Mod 0 looks ready to repeat that dominance in Warzone.
