Although Black Ops 7 launches on November 14, there’s still plenty happening in Warzone, with the Season 5 Reloaded update on the way.
Season 5 has already introduced new Battle Pass weapons and opened up the Stadium, complete with fresh Easter eggs and rewards. But there’s still more to come at mid-season, including a new weapon, limited-time mode, and special events.
Expected Warzone Season 5 Reloaded start date
The Season 5 Reloaded update is expected to arrive on Thursday, September 4. Typically, Call of Duty seasons last around eight weeks, with the mid-season update landing in week four.
However, Season 5 is slightly longer at nine weeks, set to end on October 9. This extension lines up with the Black Ops 7 beta, running from October 2–8. Because of this, the Reloaded update could also drop on September 11, but we’ll get confirmation closer to release.
New weapon: Gravemark .357 Revolver
Season 5 Reloaded introduces the Gravemark .357 Revolver, an eight-shot single-action handgun unlocked through the Hell Ride event.
It delivers high damage and strong range, balanced by a moderate fire rate and slow reload speed. Attachments such as Rapid Fire, Recoil Springs, or Akimbo can boost its effectiveness and versatility.
New mode: Deadline LTM
The Deadline limited-time mode tasks players with scoring as many points as possible by eliminating enemies, completing Contracts, looting, and spending cash at Buy Stations.
Teams have unlimited respawns, but at each circle collapse the squad with the lowest score is eliminated. Since scores reset each round, consistent performance is key to survival.
New events
Two themed events will roll out during the mid-season update:
-
Hell Ride – where players can unlock the Gravemark .357 by preventing a “ticking time bomb” scenario.
-
Atomic Block Party – a celebration of the classic Nuketown map, offering themed rewards.
More details on these events are expected in an official developer blog closer to launch.
What else to expect
While Reloaded updates are smaller than full season drops, they still deliver a mix of fresh content and balance changes, such as:
-
Weapon tuning (buffs and nerfs)
-
New gameplay mechanics or features
-
Additional Operators and possible crossover content
-
Bug fixes and stability improvements
Until then, players can dive into Season 5’s current content and check out the growing details about Black Ops 7 ahead of its November release.
